Self-care — what exactly does that mean? When we think of women and self-care, most of us conjure an image of a woman going to get her nails done or soaking in a bubble bath. Maybe she’s blocked time in her week for a work-out at the gym or to meet up with friends for a coffee date that happens a handful of times throughout the year. While these aren’t bad options, they can be superficial and ineffective ways to treat a much deeper problem.
